Proofreading

Proofreading is a final read through of your manuscript once any copy-editing has been done. You will be submitting your final draft for the elimination of any spelling, grammatical or formatting errors. It’s done on a line-by-line basis.

In proofreading, I will make corrections to the manuscript by ‘track changes’ in Word that you can then accept or reject. If there is any uncertainty, I will make suggestions to you electronically in the margin of the document. The corrected manuscript will be returned to you by email.

Proofreading Fees:

£4 per thousand words (word count is based on the word count estimated by Word). As an example, the fee for a 60,000 word manuscript would be £240.
